DemcoTECH delivered a complex EPC contract, awarded by MJV, for the Sulphur Handling System for the RAPID project and other associated facilities in Pengerang, Southern Johor, Malaysia. The main objective of the sulphur handling system is to serve export requirements of solid products for the overall RAPID facility.

“The handling, storage and distribution of fertilizer are critical phases between its production and consumption, representing not only major cost commitments but also the potential for fertilizer loss and contamination during handling, transport and storage. This not only impacts the productivity and costs of the operation, but is also a cause of environmental pollution, and significant corrosion and damage to the plant,” says DemcoTECH General Manager Paul van de Vyver.
