Designing integrated conveyor solutions for complex dry bulk applications, Dry Cargo International (DCI), June 2026
In today’s dry bulk handling operations, system availability, throughput and lifecycle reliability are increasingly defined by how effectively conveyor systems are engineered as integrated elements within complete plant projects.
“At DemcoTECH, we understand that conveyors must do much more than move material — they must integrate seamlessly with every element of a plant’s design to optimize flow, reduce downtime and future-proof operations,” says Paul van de Vyver, DemcoTECH General Manager. This philosophy is reflected in DemcoTECH’s broad portfolio of projects across multiple commodities and regions.
A recent example is the supply of 15 troughed belt conveyors as part of the design and engineering of a new 200tph (tonnes per hour) sintering plant at Sakura Ferroalloys’ facility in Malaysia. The project followed the successful execution of a similar, smaller sinter plant for Cato Ridge Alloys in South Africa.
